Reducing security risk through clearer ownership

Challenge: Security and certification demands had outgrown a centralized review process. Remediation ownership did not match the way engineering teams owned and changed their systems.
My role: I designed the operating model, translated risk into engineering practices, and helped establish ownership that teams could sustain.
Outcome: Reduced security exposure, clearer remediation ownership, and less low-value engineering work.

Securing executive support for a security roadmap

Challenge: A significant security review needed an executive decision about investment, sequencing, and ownership. Technical findings alone did not provide a practical delivery plan.
My role: I coordinated across groups, shaped the business case, and connected technical remediation to executive sponsorship.
Outcome: Executive alignment around a multi-year security roadmap, with delivery sequencing and accountable ownership.

Delivery execution

Improving delivery predictability and team health

Challenge: Delivery plans no longer reflected the team’s actual work and capacity. The planning and ownership model was creating friction and reducing confidence in the delivery cadence.
My role: I redesigned the operating model, tested planning approaches, and evaluated delivery changes alongside team-health indicators.
Outcome: Improved predictability and throughput alongside stronger team-health indicators.
